Tavian Exdecim · practiced magic

Three ways to
persuade reality.

Diagnose what does not belong. Recover what the world remembers. Restore what can still be made coherent.

The working doctrine

Magic is not spent.
It is risked.

Tavian’s memorized spells can be used repeatedly when time, knowledge, and conditions favor him. Rituals exchange speed and resources for reliability. Reckless speed, resistance, distance, or inadequate understanding do not merely stop the magic—they invite consequences.

Practice
Repeated use within known limits
Ritual
Slower, safer, more exact
Backlash
Resistance turns failure wild

The ordered practice

Diagnosis. Memory. Repair.

The three spells are strongest as a sequence, each reducing the uncertainty of the next without eliminating its cost.
